Embracing the Path: My First Week as an Intern at Blumira

Hello, fellow film enthusiasts and creative marketing mavens! I am thrilled to share with you my incredible experiences and invaluable lessons from my first week as a Video Content Specialist at Blumira, a leading cybersecurity company based in Ann Arbor. I am embarking on an exciting adventure of defining how I can bring my passion for storytelling to the complex and technical world of cybersecurity, and blending the worlds of creativity and technology.

Getting Started:

On my first day, I was introduced to Blumira, where innovation and collaboration thrive, through my supervisor Kim Brown. I immersed myself in the cybersecurity domain, absorbing knowledge about the company's mission, vision, and services. I quickly realized the valuable contribution I could make as a video intern and how the power of visual storytelling can support communicating complex cybersecurity concepts to a broader audience.

Start Work:

My first task was to create an inventory of the videos Blumira has already created. I am working to identify content that could be repurposed in new marketing activities. I also am identifying potential opportunities and providing recommendations for creative content and marketing ideas.
